Take Action

Women's Cancer Action takes action on many fronts.  We are committed to improving the lives of those facing cancer by advocating for safe, effective and affordable treatments.  We partner with like-minded organizations, encouraging lawmakers to protect us from carcinogens by passing tougher chemical reform.  And, we educate the public about companies that pinkwash, in hopes that one day it will stop. 

We encourage you to take action, too.  You can create change, no matter how big or small.  

Minimize your personal exposure to toxic products at home.   Speak out about environmental hazards in your workplace.  Affect public policy by lobbying our legislators to reduce environmental exposures that put us all at risk for cancer.  Whatever you do, take a minute out of your day to take action!

TELL CONGRESS YOU WANT PROTECTION FROM HARMFUL CHEMICALS

In April 2010, The Safe Chemicals Act was introduced in Washington!  This bill goes a long way towards bringing our failing chemical management system into the 21st century.
