Prevention
BPA, phthalates, parabens, triclosan...everyday it seems we learn about another chemical that is causing harm or leading to disease.
This past May, the President's Cancer Panel confirmed what those in the cancer community have known for years. That there is a strong link between toxic chemicals and cancer.
We are constantly exposed to toxic products in our kitchens, our bathrooms and our backyards. Toxins are also found in the water we drink, the food we eat and the air we breathe. Many of these toxins are carcinogens, or cancer-causing, and they put us all at risk.
Women's Cancer Action is here not only to make noise about reducing the number of toxins in our environment -- we're here to help you decrease your risk of cancer by giving you the tools to avoid them. We have gathered the following tips and information to help you make better purchasing decisions that will ultimately lead to a healthier life.
