A cancer diagnosis is life-changing for everyone.  Whether you are a woman recently diagnosed, a caregiver, a family member or a friend, Women's Cancer Action wants to help you find the support you need.

Find answers to your questions from others with similar experiences in our conversation forums.  Share your knowledge about treatments, learn about prevention, hear about how others are taking action or discuss how to limit your exposure to environmental toxins.  We created these forums for you to support each other.

As you explore our site, you will find information about complementary and alternative therapies.  We know that not everyone has access to these therapies, and we want to change that.

Women's Cancer Action's Caring Hands Touch program offers complementary and alternative therapy services free of charge to women with cancer in the Twin Cities.   Our dedicated volunteer providers, trained in such therapies as acupuncture, reiki, energy work and massage, offer between three to five donated sessions per client.

We also believe that connecting newly-diagnosed women with those who have experienced cancer firsthand is essential to emotional, spiritual and physical healing.  Our Kindred Spirits program matches women with similiar philosophies and approaches to health and healing.  Learn more about our program and get connected with a Kindred Spirit.
